Hutton Junior Football Club’s Code of Conduct
For Players, Coaches, Parents and Spectators
Players:
- Always have a good attitude.
- Turn up for training and matches on time.
- Show good sportsmanship and respect.
- Shake hands with opponents before and after matches.
- No jewellery is to be worn.
- Always wear the correct kit including shinpads.
- Shirts tucked in and socks pulled up during matches.
- Boots must be clean and in good condition.
- No chewing gum or eating during training or matches.
- No swearing or fighting on or off the field.
- No abusive remarks will be made towards any other player, coach, official or supporter.
- Respect the wishes of your coach. 13. Inform the coach of any illness or holidays. 14. Inform the coach of any injury.
Coaches:
- Always respect your players
- Turn up for training and matches on time.
- Always have the correct equipment.
- Always have a First Aid kit available.
- Attend appropriate training courses.
- Display good sportsmanship at all times.
- Always be honest with players and parents.
- Don’t smoke or drink alcohol while in charge of players.
- Be responsible for the behaviour of players, parents and supporters during training sessions and matches.
- Be a good role model.
Parents and Supporters:
- Ensure your child arrives on time.
- Always collect your child on time.
- Display good sportsmanship at all times.
- Stand well clear of the sidelines when watching matches.
- Do not put pressure on your child, especially during matches.
- Discuss concerns with the coach in private.
- Inform the coach any change to your child’s medical history or condition.
- Don’t swear at any player, coach, official or supporter.
- Don’t drink alcohol during training sessions or matches.
- Ensure that your child always has suitable clothing and footwear.
- Pay your child’s training and match subs on time.
