Hutton under 13s...
..play in division 1 of the Woodspring Junior League and are entering their 6th season together as a team.
At mini league level they won runner's up spot and the award for sportsmanship in the same season and have enjoyed successful runs in the knockout cup reaching 2 quarter finals and 1 semi-final over the last 3 seasons. The team has 5 players at North Somerset Schools FA level who represent their County, this is more than any other club within their age group.
The team is run by Nige who holds an FA level 1 coaching badge and Sam who holds her FA level 2 coaching badge aswell as level 1 in goalkeeping and level 2 in 'Treatment of Injury in Football award.
Many of our players have been with us since the beginning at Under 7's and we, as coaches, have watched them grow, not only into great footballers and athlete,s but also caring and understanding team players. We can foresee these lads being with us to Under 16's level, and hopefully beyond into Hutton Seniors.
Also in our team we organise many social events that over the years have seen us:
- go on tour to Devon
- do corporate package days out at Bristol Rovers,
- have a Christmas go-karting party that involved all the players and parents (great fun!!)
We also organise team social fund-raising events like quiz nights.
We as managers are very proud of our players and parents and look forward to continue working with them all over the next few years.
