About Hutton Amateur Football Club

Hutton Amateur Football Club...

...was originally formed in 1977 by local villagers, starting in the Weston-super-Mare and District Football League.

We offer a service to over 200 children, young people and adults within the Weston super Mare area - a complete path from the Under 7 age group through to senior men’s football, with expanding girls and womens sections. This is unrivalled in this area of the country.

Hutton AFC is one of only 7 registered Somerset Clubs to achieve chartered status The club is an FA Charter Standard Development Club. We are one of seven clubs, out of 700 registered with the Somerset FA that have achieved this - the highest level of grass roots club accreditaion available.

ANDY MAC - A TRIBUTE

It was with great sadness that we heard on Saturday about the news that a former manager, chairman and sponsor of the club had passed away. Always a great driver for taking the club forward, Andy became involved in the club on a committee level in the early 2000's and oversaw the most successful period in Hutton Seniors history as both manager and later Chairman. Andy was instrumental in trying to push the club as a focus for the local community and laid the paving stones for the merger, in 2006 of the Junior and Senior sections of the club. Hutton Football Club would like to extend their deepest sympathies to all of the family in this difficult time. He will always be remembered.

*NEW* SENIORS TOUR

The Seniors tour was a great success, although the football wasn't so great as we lost to St Minver 3-1. To be fair, they were sober so we didn't do too badly.

*NEW* PRESENTATION DATES!

The Junior Presentation nights will take place at Weston Football Club on Friday 18th May (Age Groups Under 11's to Under 16's including the Girls Under 12's) and Friday 25th May (Age Groups Under 6 to Under 10's). Both evenings will begin at 19:30 until late. The Seniors Presentation will be at The Old Inn on Saturday 26th May, beginning at 19:00

COACHES GET UEFA BADGES

Two Hutton Football Club coaches have been awarded their UEFA C coaching badges. Dan Liddiard, who coaches the Under 16's has completed his course while studying for a degree in Football Coaching and Sport Development at The University of Glamorgan and is also currently coaching the Cardiff City Under 10 Academy side - He is now set to undertake the UEFA B course. Mark Jones is our Under 10 manager and First team coach of the Seniors side and has completed the course run by the Somerset FA. A big congratulations to both of them on a great achievement!
