ABOUT HUTTON FC

Hutton Junior Football Club is committed to creating and maintaining the safest possible environment for children and young people to practice football.


We aim to do this by:

​​

  • Recognising that all children have the right to freedom from abuse.

  • Ensuring that all our volunteers are carefully selected and accept responsibility for helping to prevent the abuse of children whilst in their care.

  • Responding swiftly and appropriately to all suspicions or allegations of abuse and providing parents and children with the opportunity to voice any concerns they may have.

  • Appointing a Child Welfare Officer who will take specific responsibility for child safety and act as the main point of contact for parents, children and outside agencies.

  • Ensuring access to confidential information is restricted to the Child Welfare Officer or the appropriate external authorities.

  • Keeping up to date with the changes in FA Child Welfare Policy and reviewing the effectiveness of our Child Welfare Policy and activities each year.​​

​OUR PHILOSOPHY

At Hutton FC, football is for everyone. We believe in fostering a safe, welcoming and positive environment, one where players of all abilities, ages and genders can enjoy the game, develop their skills, make friends and grow in confidence. We are committed to:

  • Providing structured opportunities to play and improve, from development squads to competitive league football.

  • Supporting volunteers, coaches and managers with training and welfare resources so they can deliver quality experiences for all.

  • Engaging with the local community through events, fundraising and partnerships that extend beyond the pitch.

TEAMS AND PLAYER PATHWAY

Our club offers football across a full age range:

  • Mini and Junior Sections: Teams from Under 6 development through to Under 18s, all competing in local and regional leagues.

  • Senior Football: Multiple adult sides including First Team, Colts, Reserves and Veterans teams, offering competitive football for all.

  • Girls Section: Dedicated girls’ teams competing in recognised leagues, with clear progression opportunities.

 

Each section is supported by qualified, DBS-checked coaches who deliver age-appropriate training with a focus on development, teamwork and enjoyment.

OUR HOME AND COMMUNITY

Springwood Pavilion and the playing fields at Hutton serve as the beating heart of the club. Here we host training, matchdays and community events that bring people together, including our annual Firework Display, Summer Bash, and Hutton FC Tournament,  all highlights in the local sporting calendar.​

 

We operate on a non-profit basis and reinvest every penny back into the club to improve facilities, coaching, events and opportunities for members. This community-first approach ensures Hutton FC remains inclusive, sustainable and forward-thinking.
